living-fort-worth_500Fort Worth Texas is located in North Central Texas and is considered a sister city of Dallas and only separated by thirty miles of welcoming suburbs.  As a matter of fact Fort Worth and Dallas share many of the same business hubs, media markets, radio stations, TV stations and the mega air transportation center;  the Dallas/Fort  Worth International Airport.  The city was incorporated in 1849 as an early military outpost overlooking the scenic Trinity River.  Fort Worth is very proud of its western and early American heritage and still embraces its design, architecture and culture.  This can be seen throughout the cities boutiques, shops, restaurants, cuisine and points of interest like the Fort Worth Stockyards and the Sundance Square which is a neighborhood that was renovated and restored to resemble an early 20thcentury American community.  Fort Worth also has many other attractions also, like Fort Worth Botanic Garden complete with a ten thousand foot conservatory, Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame which pays tribute to legendary Texans like boot-maker John Justin, photographer Bob Moorhouse and Country-Western music legend, George Strait and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth which is world re-known for being designed by international famed architect, Tadao Ando.

This quaint facet of being tied back to the cities early Americana roots mixed in with its willingness to develop into a modern city makes Fort Worth Texas a very desirable place to live.  That and the fact that Fort Worth follows in the Texas tradition of; promoting business growth and innovate financial expansion.  Some of the major companies that are located in Fort Worth are AMR Corporation which is the American Airline parent company, electronic magnate RadioShack, BNSF Railway and aerospace and defense manufacturer mega-conglomerate, Lockheed Martin.

These reason and the genuine sincerity of the wonderful residences of the Fort Worth area makes this area still a stable real estate market.  The properties vary in the Forth Worth.  You can find friendly suburban enclaves speckled with single family homes.  One can find high-rise condos that are equipped with the finest amenities like roof top pools, saunas and state of the art gyms.  Fort Worth also has beautiful country styled homes and ranches that cater to pet lover and equestrian enthusiasts.   And there are also many Golf and Country Club communities which offer world class courses and spectacular tennis venues.  And there is a thriving downtown community with a fantastic art-deco feel where you can find urban settings like condos and lofts.

Even as the Real Estate market in the United States is in a lull these factors have kept the Forth Worth area relatively steady and have given the hint of returning to its glory days of the early 2000s.  With commerce and business still thriving, the down home feel that the city embraces and the plethora of cultural, entertainment , nightlife and dining venues Fort Worth Texas real estate looks very positive.  This self-proclaimed "Cowtown” real estate market is primed for growth and ready to move!

Good deal. What is the 2012 market going to look like for Buyers this year? I've got clients looking to move to the DFW area and curious to see what the market looks like. San Diego is going to be another year perfect for Buyers in my opinion.

Thanks,
